Our farmily includes residents, volunteers, CSA members, students and teachers who gather to share this beautiful life. We love our little community and are always looking for more great teammates. If you are interested in hosting a class, event or joining our farm, we recommend you start by joining one of our volunteer days. If you are interested in a more intensive experience, we encourage you to look into our internship program.
Waihuena offers gardening & Agriculture classes for both children & adults.
Check out the social media or newsletters for other offerings, such as Yoga, Breathwork, Art, Qi Gong, as well as Summer & After School programs!
Mahalo for supporting our CSA, which helps to "keep the country country", reduces wasteful packaging, and is a conscious step towards bettering your health and well-being!
We are not certified, but do grow organically.
We harvest every Monday, greens, roots, fruits, herbs, eggs, and sometimes offer other value-added goodies. We also provide items from other small organically managed farms, @littlekingfruitandflower, Diamond Island Farm and Small Kine farm mushrooms. We love offering backyard abundance from members like you.
Your CSA share will be ready for pick-up Monday between noon and six, if you let us know we can hold onto your share. When you arrive, check the board at the farm-stand for anything else you need to grab for your share.
We enjoy sharing our space for regular community classes and special events. We have hosted- keiki classes, yoga, potlucks, workshops, art shows, movie screenings, farm-to-table dinners, some epic New Years Eve parties and a few amazing weddings.
Waihuena offers custom tours which provide a hands-on learning experience inside the daily operations of a working organic farm and our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. As part of the tour, youʻll learn how fruits and vegetables are grown, harvested, and shared within our community. Discover first-hand how we manage our crops and learn about our philosophy behind the importance of organic farming for growing healthy food and sustainability within our community. Some of the organic practices and components of our growing system youʻll learn about on the tour include: crop rotation, natural pest and weed management, and our community compositing program.
Our farm is in the process of becoming Group "GAP" Food Safety Certified. Although all of our produce is washed onsite after harvest, we do label our produce "field-packed" and ask that you wash at home before consumption. As a precautionary measure, we've also adopted best practices for reducing exposure to the Rat Lungworm (RLW) Infection. We ask all of our CSA and community members to please educate themselves about RLW when eating any locally grown raw produce.
Every plate crafted with local, fresh ingredients that taste good and make you feel even better.

is to foster healthy local communities in Hawaii through sustainable agriculture, lifelong education and cultural & creative arts.
Our work is grounded on the life-giving qualities of the land and a village-model of mutual cooperation and local self-sufficiency.
Whether planting a seed, installing an irrigation system or building an adobe oven, there are endless opportunities on a farm to learn new skills and develop deeper understandings of our natural environment. At Mohala Farms, we are creating a place designed to welcome visitors of all ages interested in learning more about organic and sustainable farming practices and of developing practical resources to help new and prospective organic farmers succeed in their endeavors.
Educational activities at the farm include our farm internship program, workshops and retreats on organic agricultural practices, participation in University of Hawaii organic farming research projects, and hands-on learning activities with school groups, churches and other community-based organizations.

You can find Mohala Farms stand at the Waialua Co-Op Farmer's Market, every Saturday!
As an organic and sustainable farm, our work is based on a continual regeneration of the soil and creating a farm eco-system that is thriving with biological diversity. This is being done through cover crops, large-scale composting, crop rotations, worm bins and vermicast foliar sprays, natural and organic pest repellants, beekeeping, and a continual exploration for the most adaptable, disease-resistant variety of food crops to grow.
Sustainable agriculture also focuses on the triple bottom line – on the social, environmental and the financial. Our goal is to meet all three of these components. This involves the farm contributing to a thriving local economy, increasing the health and vitality of our land, and becoming financially self-sustaining while providing our workers with a fulfilling livelihood and a living wage.
Anahulu Farms and Healing Center is a special little place on the North Shore of Hawaii near Haleiwa.
