Our tours take place all around the island, especially the North Shore, where we are located. We also offer diving and training services in Waikiki, Honolulu and the West Coast. Surf & SUP Lessons
We are Hawaii’s premier surf school and ocean experience provider located at Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s North Shore. We specialize in Oahu surf lessons where we share our love for the ocean and wave riding with our guests through beginner surf lessons and SUP tours in a private setting only we can provide as the only commercial operator in either Turtle Bay or Kawela Bay. While our North Shore surf school is located on Turtle Bay Resort Property, we offer our services to resort guests and the general public. Walk-ins are always welcome!
Who is JOB?
Jamie O’Brien is a professional surfer from Hawaii’s North Shore, known for his fearless approach to surfing. He started surfing at the age of four and has been surfing ever since. Jamie has won numerous surfing competitions and is widely regarded as one of the best surfers in the world.
Jamie’s passion for surfing is contagious, and he loves nothing more than sharing his knowledge and experience with others. That’s why he created Jamie O’Brien Surf Experience, to give people from all over the world the chance to live the dream and surf in Hawaii.

SKY ABOVE, SEA BELOW, SURROUNDED BY NATURE, AND THE SALTY AIR WILL LEAVE YOU IN THE MOST BLISSFUL STATE!
We will meet on the beach for an introduction to our floating yoga studio, and together we walk out with our SUP boards, paddles and anchors to paddle out to the location where we will anchor down to practice. Your SUP Yoga teacher will guide you through a practice that starts slowly, tuning into the breath and letting you get used to the floating surface. You will then move into a more vibrant flow offering different variations of standing postures before slowing down with restorative postures that will set you up for the sweetest Savasana you’ve ever experienced! Please be sure to arrive 15 minutes early. Suitable for all levels of experience in yoga, stand up paddling and swimming.

Shark Tours
Come out on our exciting and education two hour program to learn about Sharks (Manō is the Hawaiian word for sharks.) Learn from professionally trained and experienced shark safety divers and marine scientists about manō (sharks) and the other unique marine life in the pelagic waters off the coast of the beautiful island of O'ahu.
Exploration & Conservation
Your professional safety dive and marine biologist will not only guide you in-water during your snorkel, but they will also educate you on the environment and the marine life in the area. While helping you during your snorkel the marine biologist is also collecting research data on each dive. Your marine biologist, naturalist, and/or research intern will provide you with a break down of the species and behaviors seen during your dive and answer any questions you have.
